Recovery Inc. is a nonprofit mental health self-health organization that offers weekly group meetings for people suffering from various emotional and mental conditions.  Recovery, Inc.’s principles parallel those found in cognitive-behavioral therapy.  The Recovery Method teaches people how to change the thoughts, reactions and behaviors that cause their physical and emotional symptoms.  Our group meetings are free and open to all.  Recovery, Inc. is a completely member managed organization.

 

Social Phobics Anonymous Social Phobics Anonymous (SPA) provides free 12 Step support groups for people who suffer from Social Phobia or Social Anxiety Disorder or Shyness Problems or Avoidant Personality Disorder (APD) or Paruresis. We have found that the Social Phobics Anonymous program of recovery can be a very great help in reducing or eliminating the symptoms of Social Phobia or other forms of Social Anxiety. Social Phobics Anonymous also employs the principles outlined in Rhonda Brittens' book "Fearless Living: Live Without Excuses and Love Without Regret." which can be a powerful resource for healing all kinds of fear-- including social anxiety, and is part of our approved literature. **We have two types of free support groups: 1) Local Face-To-Face Groups and 2) Telephone Conference Call Support Groups which are accessible to anyone, anywhere, with a phone:.
 

MindFreedom International  MindFreedom International is a 100 percent independent nonprofit coalition of grassroots groups working for human rights and alternatives in the mental health system. While most of MFI's members and staff are psychiatric survivors, it is open to the public.
