Plans of this project include helping consumers become aware of their rights with an emotional support service animal. Helping them obtain the documentation for landlords, provide education on how to care for and train an ESSA animal through non-punitive measures, and to provide consultation if or when discrimination is made to that person. We also hope to accomplish an educational workshop for the benefit of community members in an attempt to de-stigmatize the mental health views held by others and the rights to have a service animal in all public places. An Increase of understanding will only enhance the positive attitudes of these who are unaware of this project and mental health illnesses. Our goals is to improve health image of consumers so they enable themselves to become independent, productive members in the community.
